Sounding off to over 250 audience members, 10 acts performed a wide range of tunes from Tom Jones, traditional Irish singing, Broadway songs, jazz, country and two originally written songs.
Mary Hanifan wowed the crowd with her performance of “Jealousy” accompanied by good friend on the piano Eileen who is in her 99th year.
Cecilia Hanson sung her original composition and true story about a working dog puppy called “Charlie”.
Inspired to write a song for a friend who is still looking for her man, Melissa Cloake sung her “Whoever Loves Me” which tabled a women’s list of requirements for a potential new partner.
The People’s Choice went to the only act that didn’t sing, poet Kevin Dean who presented an amusing poem called “Both Ladies Wore Red”.
