Talented Tewantin
The first heat for Senior Superstar Sunshine Coast kicked off in amazing style at the Tewantin-Noosa RSL on Saturday 3rd October.
14 acts displayed the variety and talent these talented seniors had to offer.
Over 150 people attended the first heat eager to see and support their local talent.
The standard was very high making the judges decisions even harder. The four finalists to go through to the Grand Final were:
Miha Waahi 56, from Sunshine Beach sung “How Great Thou Art” incorporating his Maori heritage by singing one verse in Maori.
Johnny Bee, 68 from Currimundi got the crowd rocking to the Johnny O’Keefe classic “She’s My Baby”.
Ron Smith from Beerwah came straight form his hospital bed to perform the Matt Monroe classic “Born Free”

Rockin On from across the Sunny Coast performed the Ventures classic “Pipeline”.
Next week brings a variety of acts to Maroochy RSL. Singers, tap dancers, bush poets, a belly dancer and even a horse will perform!
